Granny Takes A Trip, 488 Kings Road, Chelsea, London was the first psychedelic boutique in "Swinging London" in the 1960s. It was visited by many "psychedelic dandies" who were attracted by the continuous music played in the shop of Pink Floyd, The Soft Machine, The Velvet Underground. The shop front was an ever changing display of psychedelia: a Red Indian, Marilyn Monroe, and a car driving out of the window, among others.
